MS Word Compatible Shapes and Drawings

The screenshot below shows the new ribbon interface to insert 180+ different, MS Word compatible, shape types into the HTML5 based ASP.NET control. The shapes can be inserted as single objects or grouped in a Drawing Canvas into TX Text Control and can be completely customized using the ribbon interface and the ready-to-use dialog box. When activating drawing objects, a fully featured editor is available to modify the shapes.

The new contextual ribbon tab Shape Format can be used to set the shape fill color and border style of selected drawing objects:

A new Drawing Layout dialog has been implemented to define object properties such as rotation and transparency:

New Dialog Boxes

TX Text Control X13 provides new dialog boxes to insert symbol characters, hyperlinks and bookmarks. Additionally, a Goto dialog has been implemented to jump directly to pages, sections, tables, lines or bookmarks.

Redesigned Merge Blocks

The Mailings ribbon tab has been redesigned and the Insert Merge Block dialog has been improved, so that columns can be sorted now:

The web version of TX Text Control has been also updated with the new merge blocks implemented as SubTextParts which are highlighted automatically in TX Text Control (highlighted in red in the below screenshot):
