One More Stop on Our Conference Circus: code.talks 2026

Text Control is joining code.talks 2026 in Hamburg for the first time, a community-driven developer conference known for its strong technical focus and unique movie theater setting. We are excited to connect with developers, share innovations in document processing technology, and become part of this vibrant community.

One More Stop on Our Conference Circus: code.talks 2026

Our conference calendar keeps growing, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just signed up for another stop on our ever-expanding "circus" of developer events: code.talks 2026.

Why code.talks?

code.talks was founded in Hamburg by entrepreneurs deeply rooted in the local tech scene. The most notable of these entrepreneurs are Tarek Müller, co-founder of About You, and Tobias Schlottke, co-founder of OMR. About You is one of Europe's leading fashion tech companies, known for its highly scalable, API-driven commerce platform (before the merger with Zalando). OMR has grown into one of the most influential digital marketing and media platforms in Europe, connecting thousands of companies, creators, and decision-makers.

code.talks began as a side project to create the kind of developer conference its founders wanted: Practical, curated, and focused on real engineering. What began as a founder-driven initiative quickly evolved into a key meeting point for developers and tech decision-makers in Europe.

We visited code.talks last year to get a feel for it, and we immediately knew it was the right fit. From the first sessions to the conversations in between, one thing was clear: This is a conference with a strong and authentic developer community. It's exactly the kind of environment we enjoy being part of and supporting. The focus on practical, real-world engineering topics aligns perfectly with our mission to empower developers with the best document processing technology.

The event features over 100 talks, master classes, and deep tech sessions covering everything from GenAI and architecture to DevEx and engineering culture. It's a great opportunity for us to connect with developers, share our latest innovations in document processing technology, and learn from the amazing community there.

A Conference in a Movie Theater

One thing that immediately sets code.talks apart is that it takes place in a movie theater. Not a typical expo hall. Not a hotel ballroom.

Real movie theaters have big screens and proper seating, which makes every talk feel more like a premiere than a presentation. This setup is surprisingly perfect for in-depth technical sessions: Focused and immersive without the usual conference chaos.

Hamburg. Developers. Energy.

With its strong developer community and vibrant tech hub, Hamburg is an ideal location for code.talks. The city's energy and innovation are infectious, and we're excited to experience that atmosphere again. Our European headquarters is located in Bremen, just about an hour away from Hamburg, so code.talks feels like a local conference for us.

We've been traveling a lot lately, meeting with customers, developers, partners, and friends across the U.S. and Europe. Every conference offers something unique. Some are deep and technical, some are business-heavy, and some are purely for community. Then there are the ones that strike the right balance.

code.talks clearly falls into that category community-first, but with real technical depth. It's not just about talks; it's about conversations, exchanges, and the people you meet between sessions.

code.talks 2025

We're thrilled to be joining the code.talks community for the first time this year. If you're attending, please stop by our booth to say hello. We look forward to having great conversations, sharing our latest work, and learning from the incredible developer community at code.talks 2026.

See you in Hamburg!
