This sample ASP.NET web application uses TX Text Control Server for ASP.NET (incl. Windows Forms)'s Page Rendering Engine to create thumbnails from MS Word compatible documents that are presented in a Silverlight 4.0 carousel application.
The diagram below shows the design and the interaction between TX Text Control and the Silverlight application. The Silverlight application requests the images from a WCF Web Service. This WCF Web Service uses TX Text Control Server for ASP.NET (incl. Windows Forms)'s Page Rendering Engine to create high resolution images that are rendered by Silverlight using a simple System.Windows.Controls.Image control.
This application is another great example that shows how flexible TX Text Control Server for ASP.NET (incl. Windows Forms) is. Feel free to post your comments and questions.
