Version 14.0 Release and Happy Holidays

I know that you all waiting for version 14.0 of TX Text Control, the most interesting TX Text Control release in the last years. It contains many new features, interesting possibilities and ideas leading the word processing market. I already announced some of them in the product feature roadmap . Version 14.0 Release and Happy Holidays

I know that you all waiting for version 14.0 of TX Text Control, the most interesting TX Text Control release in the last years. It contains many new features, interesting possibilities and ideas leading the word processing market. I already announced some of them in the product feature roadmap . Here is a more completed list:

  • Document sections
    • Different headers and footers, page sizes, page margins
  • 64bit versions
  • New page setup dialog (headers and footers, section formatting)
  • Improved page view mode
  • Improved status bar
  • Office Open XML (DOCX) import and export
  • Compatible MS Word fields
  • Mail Merge component
  • PageCollection
  • And many more...

While TX Text Control is tested automatically with very complex NUnit testing scripts during the development, we are currently testing the complete version manually in our QA department to release a high quality product to our valued users. We strive to release version 14.0 in January 2008.

After the holiday season, our offices will be open again on Wednesday, 26th of December.
