Text Control and Appeon partnered to integrate TX Text Control as the built-in rich text editor in PowerBuilder 2019. The OEM version ships at no cost across all PowerBuilder editions and provides backward compatibility with RTF documents from SAP PowerBuilder version 12.6 and earlier.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Charlotte, NC, United States (May 29, 2019) - Text Control, a vendor of professional document processing and reporting software, and Appeon, a provider of software for accelerating the development of cloud business applications, announced a partnership that gives PowerBuilder users access to the leading word processing component, TX Text Control.
Thanks to this new partnership, Appeon's customers will now benefit from Text Control's innovative, stable and renowned products. A special OEM version of TX Text Control is incorporated as a built-in rich text editor in PowerBuilder. This is provided in all editions of PowerBuilder at no additional cost to Appeon customers. It can also be used to offer backwards compatibility for RTF documents to existing PowerBuilder projects using SAP PowerBuilder version 12.6 or older.

Reporting
The Text Control Reporting Framework combines powerful reporting features with an easy-to-use, MS Word compatible word processor. Users can create documents and templates using ordinary Microsoft Word skills. The Reporting Framework is included in all .NET based TX Text Control products including ASP.NET, Windows Forms and WPF.
