Press Release: VisualWriter Becomes TX Text Control
DBS Germany resumed full ownership of its word processing component after Visual Components Inc ceased distribution of the rebranded VisualWriter product. DBS restored the original TX Text Control name and released version 6.0 through its own channels and The Imaging Source.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Charlotte, NC, United States (October 1, 1997) - Visual Components Inc has stopped marketing and reselling VisualWriter. Today, DBS Germany, the manufacturer of the product, took over technical support, updates, sales and maintenance.
Visual Components Inc had changed the original name of the product, TX Text Control to VisualWriter so that the product name would fit in better with their product range. The original product, TX Text Control, is available now in version 6.0 from DBS or The Imaging Source.
