Impressions from BASTA! Spring 2018
Text Control exhibited at BASTA! Spring 2018 in Frankfurt, demonstrating TX Text Control X15 features such as document protection, watermarks, and thesaurus support. The team also announced an upcoming HTML widget for embedding the HTML5-based editor into Angular and React.
This week, we exhibited at BASTA! Spring 2018 at the Marriott Frankfurt, Germany. As always, it was a great event with top speakers from our Microsoft-focused industry.
We gave demos of our latest version X15 with it's new features including document protection, watermarks and the thesaurus features of TX Spell .NET.
We also discussed new upcoming features and ideas we are planning for 2018. We will share a detailed roadmap very soon and today, we can announce a new technology that we already presented at the conference: An HTML widget for our HTML5-based editor that can be embedded into any HTML page which makes our MS Word style document editor available for platforms such as Angular, React or pure HTML. We will publish details about a beta program soon.
Traditionally, we raffled off an XBox One X with our new ReportingCloud based raffle system. It was a great success and showed the flexible possibilities of our REST Web API to create documents.

Reporting
The Text Control Reporting Framework combines powerful reporting features with an easy-to-use, MS Word compatible word processor. Users can create documents and templates using ordinary Microsoft Word skills. The Reporting Framework is included in all .NET based TX Text Control products including ASP.NET, Windows Forms and WPF.
