BrowserTextControl: First Tests with Internet Explorer 9 (Public Beta)

The BrowserTextControl component in TX Text Control Server for ASP.NET runs without issues in the Internet Explorer 9 public beta. All shipped samples and the online demos at labs.textcontrol.com load correctly, confirming that IE9 maintains full .NET assembly integration.

I personally like the new interface and the location of the opened tabs next to the location bar. Overall, it is a fast and fluent interface. Special thanks to Microsoft for the new Developer Tools that help to analyze HTML, CSS or your Javascript.

But now to something more important (at least to me and many of you using TX Text Control's BrowserTextControl component). Does the BrowserTextControl work with Internet Explorer 9?

Absolutely, yes! I tried many samples that come with TX Text Control Server for ASP.NET (incl. Windows Forms) as well as the online samples at labs.textcontrol.com and all of them work very well. .NET assemblies can be seamlessly integrated and loaded client-side. The loading of components depending upon the .NET framework has not been changed.

Feel free to test it on your own. You can download Internet Explorer 9 here:
