Document Loading Issue in x64 Configuration

We've identified a problem that occurs when trying to load DOCX, DOC, RTF or HTML files into a (Server)TextControl instance.

Details:

Configuration: This behavior is specific to the x64 configuration and does not occur when using the x86 configuration. Impact: The problem seems to be isolated to the document loading process, as other functionality seems to be unaffected. Status: This issue has been fixed internally and will be included in the upcoming version 33.0, which is planned for release soon.

.NET Compatibility

We are pleased to announce that TX Text Control .NET components have been rigorously tested with all pre-release beta versions and the final Release Candidate of .NET 9, ensuring full compatibility and support. Our dedicated testing process ensures that developers using TX Text Control can seamlessly integrate their applications with the latest features and improvements in .NET 9. With this release, developers can confidently deploy TX Text Control components in ASP.NET, Windows Forms, and WPF applications that are fully optimized for the performance and security enhancements of .NET 9.

Visual Studio

In addition to extensive testing with all pre-release beta versions and the final Release Candidate of .NET 9, we have also thoroughly tested the TX Text Control components with the latest version of Visual Studio, which includes full .NET 9 support. This includes compatibility with NuGet packages, designer support, and other related features critical for seamless integration and development. Our testing ensures that the TX Text Control components work flawlessly within Visual Studio, providing developers with a smooth experience for building applications across the ASP.NET, Windows Forms, and WPF platforms while taking full advantage of the features and enhancements in .NET 9.

Linux Support Coming

We're in the final stages of developing Linux support for TX Text Control, and are not too far away from releasing this.

This upcoming release will allow developers to seamlessly deploy .NET 8 and later applications across Windows and Linux environments, as well as on Azure and other hyperscalers. Our team is working hard to ensure that this cross-platform functionality delivers the same level of performance and reliability that developers have come to expect from TX Text Control.
