Rich Text Format (RTF) is a file format developed by Microsoft that allows end users to save text files while preserving their formatting, font information, and text color. It is supported by virtually all document processing applications, making it one of the best suited formats for exchanging data between different applications.
TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms can load and save RTF. In addition, when text formatted as RTF is copied to the clipboard, its formatting is retained. When the clipboard is pasted back into a document, the text is imported as RTF.
