Document Type Description (DTD)
DTD validation ensures proper XML data entry compliance
A Document Type Definition (DTD) is a collection of XML markup declarations that defines the legal structure, elements, and attributes available for use in a document that complies with the DTD.
When loading an XML file, TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms automatically looks for the corresponding DTD on the local file system, from a network path, or from the web.
Once the XML file is loaded, TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms can prevent the end user from making changes that would invalidate the XML contents using the associated DTD.
