Yes, Text Control products are licensed on a per-developer basis. Each developer who uses our products must have their own, assigned license. Each member of the development team, including quality assurance engineers (testers), who need to compile your application - built with Text Control products - requires a license.

Yes, all licenses are valid "life-long" and do not expire.

TX Text Control .NET Server requires runtime licenses for the deployment to production servers. These are the servers where your application is running. The optional runtime OEM licenses (e.g. TX-3200-DA-RM-S) enable you to deploy your application to an unlimited number of servers.

TX Text Control subscriptions entitle developers to get immediate access to product updates and service packs - the moment they are released - for the period of one year. Furthermore, subscribers can place an unlimited number of support incidents via telephone, email or live chat. More about the subscriptions can be found here.

A pre-renewal subscription renews your TX Text Control subscription for one year before your expiry date. When your subscription has expired, you can renew your TX Text Control subscription for the post-renewal price. A post-renewal subscription renews your TX Text Control subscription for one year, if your subscription has already expired. This offer is only valid for thirty days after expiration. After thirty days, it is not possible to renew your TX Text Control subscription.

Yes, technical support is included in all subscription licenses, including direct access to technical support engineers (telephone, email and chat).

The license agreement is a click-through license agreement that is accepted by installing the setup of TX Text Control. You can also download a PDF version.
