PDF/A, which stands for "PDF for Archiving," is an ISO standard (ISO 19005) designed for the long-term preservation of electronic documents. PDF/A-3, the third part of this standard, enables the embedding of various files, including XML, CSV, and DOCX, into a PDF. The "A" level adds full accessibility and structure to the document, ensuring compliance with PDF/UA (Universal Accessibility) standards.
