If you've ever attended CodeMash, then you know that two things are almost guaranteed: great conversations with serious developers and a snowstorm at some point during the week. This year was no exception. Arriving in Ohio: CodeMash Weather Never Disappoints When our team arrived at the Kalahari Resort in Ohio, a snowstorm moved through the area, leaving fresh snow behind. Honestly, we don't remember a CodeMash without snow. That is exactly what makes CodeMash so unique. Technically, you are at an African-themed indoor water park in the middle of Ohio while everything outside looks like a winter postcard. The perfect mix of fun and "only at CodeMash" energy makes the event unforgettable every year. A LEGO Conference Theme That Actually Became Real The theme of this year's CodeMash was LEGO-inspired: Code. Connect. Construct. It wasn't just branding, though. It turned into an actual creative experience on site. Throughout the venue, there were huge LEGO structures that attendees, kids, and families had customized and painted. These builds added a surprisingly personal and community-driven touch to the conference. It was great to see how CodeMash continues to embrace its "family-friendly" spirit while maintaining the technical depth the event is known for. A Prime Expo Location and Constant Booth Traffic From an exhibitor's perspective, CodeMash was a big win for Text Control. We had a prime location in the expo area, and people were constantly passing by. More importantly, it wasn't just foot traffic. The conversations were deep, technical, and highly relevant. This is exactly what we want from a developer conference. We spoke with many developers about their real-world document processing needs, including: Generating PDFs from HTML content Implementing electronic signatures Automating document generation and reporting Creating template-driven document editing solutions These topics consistently lie at the heart of modern business applications, and it's clear that many teams are looking for reliable, scalable, enterprise-ready solutions. A Clear Trend: Developers Are Moving Away From Other SDKs One of the strongest trends that we have seen at recent events continued at CodeMash. More and more, developers are approaching us with a very specific question: How can we transition from our current document SDK to TX Text Control? The reasons vary, but the intent is consistent. Teams want a solution that is: enterprise-ready and proven designed for long-term maintainability backed by real support and product continuity strong in document editing, reporting, and PDF workflows It feels great to be part of these conversations and see TX Text Control gaining momentum and market share. We continue investing so much into our SDKs and platform because we want to offer a professional, dependable document processing library to teams that have struggled with limitations elsewhere. The CodeMash Party: Water Park Takeover CodeMash is about more than just sessions and expo booths. It's also about community. The attendee party was a highlight, as always. The entire water park was open exclusively for CodeMash attendees. There were reserved cabanas, and the food and drink setup was great, including pizza, burgers, and plenty of refreshments. It was the perfect place to continue conversations in a relaxed setting and connect with developers outside the expo hall. Events like this make CodeMash feel like more than just a conference. They feel like traditions. CodeMash was a major success for Text Control. We had incredible booth traffic, met with existing customers and new users, and engaged in the kind of product discussions that directly influence how developers build real applications today. Despite the snowstorm, the LEGO theme, the Kalahari water park experience, and the strong interest in enterprise document processing, CodeMash delivered another unforgettable week. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared feedback, and challenged us with great technical questions. See you next year, CodeMash!
