Online Tutorial: Build your First Report

We added a new interactive sample to our online demos that shows how to create your first report using TX Text Control. The idea is to show the process of creating a document step by step beginning with preparing the data, creating the template to merging them together.

Document Permissions and Password Encryption

TX Text Control allows you to protect documents with specific permissions and to protect documents from editing and formatting actions. Typically, a document is protected, exceptions are applied for specific users and the document is encrypted with a password.

Impressions from DEVintersection Orlando 2019

Last month, we exhibited at DEVintersection Spring 2019 in the Disney Swan hotel in Orlando. We were able to demo our new, Visual Studio 2019 compatible version X17 to existing clients and many interested developers at the conference.

Using the ResourceProvider to Customize the Ribbon MiniToolbar

The new ResourceProvider class provides access to all high resolution images used in the built-in ribbon tabs and toolbars. Additionally, the ResourceProvider returns other built-in resources such as item descriptions and tooltips.
