Sneak Peek X16: MS Word Compatible Track Changes The next version of TX Text Control will enable users to keep track of changes made to a document. This redlining feature is very helpful when working on the same document with multiple authors specifically with legal or healthcare documents where changes need to be tracked and safely logged. Impressions from dotnet Cologne 2018 Last month, we sponsored dotnet Cologne 2018 as a Platinum partner and presented our latest versions of TX Text Control and ReportingCloud at our booth and demo counters. Sneak Peek X16: Filter and Sort MergeBlock Rows In version X16, we are going to introduce data shaping to filter and sort data rows in a MergeBlock. The out-of-the-box available UI (ribbon and dialog boxes) will reflect these new improvements. Sneak Peek X16: New Customizable Sidebar Controls For version X16, we are working on a new UI concept to arrange commonly tasks in sidebars that can be docked (pinned) or unpinned and shown as nonmodal dialog windows. MailMerge: Using the FieldMerged Event to Highlight Table Cells The FieldMerged event returns useful information and options to manipulate the merged content in the FieldMergedEventArgs. Since version X14 (24.0), the TableCell property returns a TXTextControl.TableCell object in case the merge field is positioned inside a table. This can be used to manipulate the table cell based on merged values. Responsive Product and API Documentation With the relaunch of our website, we also released a new online version of the product and API documentation for Text Control products.
