Using the DataSourceManager to Merge Templates

The TX Text Control reporting engine supports various types of data sources that can be used to merge MS Word compatible documents with data. The DataSourceManager encapsulates the complete handling, logic and ready-to-use dialog boxes for reporting template creation tasks.

Impressions from DevIntersection Spring 2018

Last month, we exhibited at DevIntersection Spring 2018 in Orlando. Traditionally, we unveil the roadmap for a new major release at this conference. We presented our current version at our demo counters and were able to present our roadmap to interested users.

Deploying the MVC HTML5 Editor to Azure App Services

While the backend service of the HTML5-based editor, that synchronizes the document, requires a full Azure VM, the front-end ASP.NET MVC application can be deployed to Azure App Services. This concept allows a central server (cluster) to host the backend which is used by several applications deployed to various App Service instances.
