This article shows how to use the Entity Framework - Microsoft's recommended data access technology for new applications. MailMerge can be directly used with data objects generated by the Entity Framework using the MergeObjects method.

TX Text Control .NET Server for ASP.NET comes with the HTML5 based editor Web.TextControl and the cross-browser, cross-platform DocumentViewer component to view reports and documents. Thanks to pure HTML and CSS, the DocumentViewer can be easily styled and customized. This sample replaces the button background images, the overall button style and the background of the view itself.

TX Text Control supports all MS Word fields including the typical merge fields, content control fields, legacy form fields or special fields such as DOCVARIABLE. All of those fields can be found in the ApplicationField collection. The MailMerge class populates fields of type MERGEFIELD automatically with data from different data sources. This sample shows how to merge fields of type DocVariables using the MailMerge class.
