At the conference DevIntersection in Orlando, Florida, we just announced the roadmap for the first true WYSIWYG, HTML5-based Web editor and reporting template designer for ASP.NET. We presented first live demos at the conference and attendees are able to experience the interface at demo stations. The presented technology doesn’t require any client-side browser plug-ins, but pure HTML5 and Javascript. Zero footprint - no plug-ins. |

According to the golden rules of user experience design, when long-running processes are being executed, it is a good practice to provide feedback to users, for example, updating a progress bar. Merging hundreds of data rows with merge blocks and various merge fields can take some time. TX Text Control's MailMerge component provides events when data rows or block rows are merged, that can be used to perform a step on a progress bar. |
