DevIntersection: Come to Vegas and see TX Text Control Reporting X10
Exclusively at DevIntersection, we will present the new Reporting functionality of TX Text Control X10 in the United States. Visit our booth at the expo area of this fantastic conference and learn more about our latest product versions. We will have hands-on demo counters where you can test the easiness to use of our reporting products. Create your own template and see the mail merge integration in Visual Studio in action.
In Reporting X10, we will introduce Report Data Source Configuration files. These files are created in the shipped Template Designer and include data connections and created data relations.
Text Control Reporting X10 is going to have support for creating labels in a very easy way. Creating labels for mailings, shipping or labeling is a common task for reporting tools.
The direct use of enumerable business objects as a data source to merge templates is one of the most commonly requested features of TX Text Control Reporting. In TX Text Control X10, DocumentServer.MailMerge is getting a new method to start the merge process with an IEnumerable object.
In the upcoming version X10, an image object can be added to the template with a given name. The data column must contain either the binary image data as a byte array, an object of type System.Drawing.Image, a file name, hex or Base64 encoded string.
