Hawaii is coming! Microsoft is working on the latest Visual Studio version (Codename: Hawaii) which will be released in April. It will be officially presented at the DevConnections conference on April 12-14 in Las Vegas, USA. Featured project: Visual C++ MFC wrapper for TX Text Control

An enthusiastic user of TX Text Control recently published an open source project that provides a Microsoft CWnd-based wrapper for TX Text Control ActiveX 15.1. Generally, ActiveX controls can be easily imported into MFC-based projects, but these wrappers around ActiveX controls are incomplete. This project contains wrappers for the TXTextControl, TXButtonBar, TXRulerBar and TXStatusBar. The TXWrapper class itself acts like a parent window for the TX Text Control components. Additionally, some helper classes and a sample application is part of the project.

ID and Name properties for images and text frames

One of the most commonly requested features since the release of version 15.0 is the possibility to store additional information for images and text frames. Version 15.1 implements an ID and a Name property for these frame-based objects. These properties help you to find an image or frame based on a specific name.
