TX Text Control Labs launched: New website for online samples
We have just launched a website that will be the new home for our TX Text Control online samples. By viewing and playing with the sample applications available on this web site, you can learn about the server-side and client-side capabilities of TX Text Control.
Next live session: Creating browser-based word processing applications
In the last few weeks, we have had our first online sessions, where presented typical TX Text Control-based applications. They were very successful and we are glad to announce that we will continue this service.
It is getting closer: Come see TX Text Control at Basta! 2009 in Germany
TX Text Control will be attending Basta! 2009 in Mainz on September 21-25. Basta! is one of the largest .NET conferences in Europe. We are proud to attend with our own booth to show you the latest TX Text Control developments and future plans.
Export multipage TIFF images using TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms
TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms 15.0 introduced the page rendering engine that allows you to export a metafile or a bitmap of each separate page. This enables developers to create thumbnails of the pages or to export images to view them in a browser. This sample shows how to create a multipage TIFF image from all pages of a document.
With TX Text Control 15.0, we introduced PDF/A export functionality. PDF/A is a format that has been created and standardized for long-term archiving of electronic documents. Using TX Text Control, you don't need separate third-party software, printer driver or an additional component module.
In an older sample, we showed how to implement 'paste special' functionality by accessing the clipboard directly using .NET. In version 15.0, we implemented this functionality directly into the Paste method.
First TX Text Control online webinar was successful
On August 19th, we started our first online webinar. It was an exceedingly productive meeting and I am sure that all attendees learned a lot about TX Text Control.
