Internet Information Server (IIS) needs to be installed in order to run TX Text Control .NET Server. It can be run on a dedicated server, or by simply activating IIS on the developer's computer. This way, a server application can be developed and tested on the same computer, without requiring access to a seperate server.
At some point, an application will be transfered to a 'real', dedicated production server. The following steps are required to transfer your TX Text Control license.
Assuming that you have an ASP.NET project opened in Visual Studio .NET:
An application folder will now be created at the server location that you previously specified. Copy all of the used TX Text Control .NET Server Redistributable Files from \Assembly (TXTextControl.Server.dll and TXDocumentServer.dll) and the appropriate files from the \Assembly\bin or \Assembly\bin64 folder into the Bin folder of the web application.
