We are heading back to Norway. From September 14-18, 2026, Text Control will be a partner and exhibitor at [NDC Oslo](https://www.ndcoslo.com) once again. It is one of the largest and most impressive software development conferences in Europe.

NDC Oslo has been a fixture on our conference calendar for years, and we continue to return for many reasons. We love Oslo, appreciate the conference's unique atmosphere, and, most importantly, enjoy meeting the developers, architects, technology leaders, and partners who make this event a special part of the European developer community.

As a long-term NDC partner, we are proud to support the conference once again and are looking forward to another busy week at Oslo Spektrum.

### A Conference Unlike Any Other

More than 2,700 developers, architects, technology leaders, speakers, and partners are expected to gather for five days of workshops, sessions, technical discussions, and networking. The program includes over 150 speakers and 165 sessions covering .NET, AI, architecture, the cloud, security, JavaScript, web development, programming languages, and other topics shaping modern software development.

However, the numbers alone do not capture what makes NDC Oslo distinctive. The conference takes place at Oslo Spektrum, a large arena in the heart of the city. There, sessions, stages, the exhibition area, food stations, meeting spaces, and thousands of attendees come together under one roof.

Even after attending for many years, walking into the arena during NDC week remains impressive. The event's scale creates an atmosphere difficult to reproduce at a conventional conference center, yet the organization still makes the conference feel approachable and personal.

#### Why We Keep Coming Back

For us, NDC Oslo has always been about much more than just exhibiting our software. We demonstrate TX Text Control, introduce new technology, discuss application architectures, and answer technical questions. However, the most valuable part of the event is often the natural conversations that develop at our booth.

p>![Text Control NDC Oslo team](https://s1-www.textcontrol.com/assets/dist/blog/2026/08/26/a/assets/ndcoslo4.webp "Text Control NDC Oslo team")Developers often approach us with specific document processing needs, such as complex reporting workflows, high-volume PDF processing, secure on-premises deployments, browser-based document editing, electronic signatures, and integrating document functionality into existing enterprise applications. Recently, these discussions have increasingly involved AI, focusing on how generative technology can be integrated with established business documents and deterministic document processing workflows.

These conversations often go far beyond a traditional product demonstration. We discuss architectures, deployment models, performance requirements, compliance considerations, and the technical details of the applications people are building. In many cases, the feedback and ideas from these discussions find their way back to our development teams.

This direct interaction with developers is one of the main reasons we have supported NDC conferences for so long. The atmosphere in Oslo is technical, curious, open, and relaxed. Attendees are genuinely interested in discussing technology and learning how other developers approach similar challenges.

### Our New Booth for NDC Oslo 2026

This year, we are bringing a brand new booth concept to Oslo that showcases the extensive TX Text Control product line and the evolution of modern document processing.

![Text Control booth concept](https://s1-www.textcontrol.com/assets/dist/blog/2026/08/26/a/assets/booth-concept-ndc-oslo.webp "Text Control booth concept")

The central message is simple: **Create. Edit. Sign. Done.**

TX Text Control provides developers with the necessary document processing technology to integrate professional document workflows directly into their applications. This includes reporting and document generation, browser-based editing, PDF processing, electronic signatures, viewing documents, and complete workflows built around structured business data.

Rather than combining multiple disconnected services for different stages of the document lifecycle, developers can use one integrated technology stack that covers the entire process, from creation and editing to processing, signing, and final distribution.

#### AI-Powered Documents

Another major focus of our booth this year will be the intersection of artificial intelligence and professional document processing.

While generative AI is remarkably good at creating and transforming text, enterprise applications typically require much more than unstructured textual output. Business documents contain layouts, tables, headers and footers, merge fields, repeating data structures, calculations, signatures, form fields, page breaks, compliance requirements, and precise output formats, such as DOCX and PDF.

At NDC Oslo, we will demonstrate how AI agents can be connected to TX Text Control's document processing technology to create structured, production-ready documents from natural language instructions and application data.

For instance, an AI agent can receive a JSON data structure and use it to generate a professional invoice template with merge fields, repeating merge blocks, taxes, totals, and the necessary formatting. This approach can also be used for reports, letters, contracts, forms, and many other types of documents that ultimately need to be reliable DOCX or PDF files.

This combination is interesting because it brings together two strengths: AI provides the flexibility to interpret natural-language instructions and understand data structures. Meanwhile, a deterministic document processing engine ensures the resulting document adheres to predictable formatting, pagination, data binding, and output rules.

This is what we mean by AI-Powered Documents.

### See the Latest TX Text Control Technology at NDC Oslo 2026

Our technical team will be at the booth throughout the conference to demonstrate the latest TX Text Control technology. This technology is used for browser-based document editing, server-side document generation, PDF processing, reporting, mail merge, electronic signatures, and document viewing.

![Text Control NDC Oslo team](https://s1-www.textcontrol.com/assets/dist/blog/2026/08/26/a/assets/ndcoslo2.webp "Text Control NDC Oslo team")

We will also discuss modern application architectures and deployment scenarios involving .NET, JavaScript, React, cloud platforms, Linux, containers, and the evolution of browser-based document editing.

TX Text Control customers are welcome to bring technical questions, architectural ideas, or specific implementation challenges. Developers evaluating document processing technology can show us their projects and discuss how TX Text Control components could fit into their application architecture.

We bring members of our development and product teams to NDC Oslo for these detailed technical discussions rather than treating the event purely as a marketing exhibition.

#### Win a PlayStation 5

We also want the booth to be a place where people can stop by, have some fun, and spend time with the team. Once again, attendees will have the opportunity to enter our raffle to win a PlayStation 5.

The raffle QR code will be available at the Text Control booth. Scan the code to enter the raffle for a chance to take home a new PlayStation 5.

#### Stay for the NDC Party

Another tradition that we have come to appreciate over the years is the official NDC party held on Thursday evening at the Oslo Spektrum. With live music, food, and drinks, and with thousands of developers still inside the venue, the evening provides an excellent opportunity to continue conversations started during the day's conference.

![Text Control NDC Oslo team](https://s1-www.textcontrol.com/assets/dist/blog/2026/08/26/a/assets/ndcoslo3.webp "Text Control NDC Oslo team")

Our booth is usually a meeting point well into the evening, and some of the most interesting discussions we've had at NDC began as technical conversations during the day and continued in a much more relaxed environment later on.

### See You in Oslo!

Looking back at our previous visits to NDC Oslo, each year has been unique, yet the outcome has remained consistent: we return home with numerous conversations, fresh ideas, valuable feedback, and an extensive list of topics to follow up on.

This is why NDC Oslo continues to be one of the highlights of our conference year, and we are proud to be a long-term partner of the NDC community.

We look forward to returning to Oslo Spektrum in September to meet familiar faces, get to know new developers, and spend several days talking about document processing, software architecture, AI, and the technology people are building.

If you are attending NDC Oslo 2026, be sure to stop by the Text Control booth to meet the team. We look forward to seeing you in Oslo.
