I see no range objects for programmaticly creating and editing documents, as in Word and Xcel. Or what is the equivalent to ranges in TX Text Control?

In TX Text Control, a range is a Selection. Additionally, all other objects are available in collections such an ImageCollection or TableCollection which gives you access to all objects in the document. You can easily create or edit a document by using the Selection object or the other collections. Please have a look at the shipped samples to learn how to use this API or contact us in the support department: http://www.textcontrol.com/en_US/support/case/
