TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms Documentation

Creating the Project

Assuming that you have already run the TX Text Control .NET Server installation program, start Visual Studio 2008 and create a new Web Site. Select either Visual Basic .NET or C# .NET as a project language, and ASP.NET Web Application as a template.

Continue with the next step, if the TX Text Control items are in your toolbox. Otherwise, add the items to your toolbox manually as described below.

Then use the Choose Toolbox Items... menu item from the Tools menu to include ServerTextControl to the toolbox. In the Choose Toolbox Items dialog box, select the .NET Framework Components tab and check the ServerTextControl from the installed .NET components.

Confirm with OK.

In order to add non-visual controls like TX Text Control .NET Server to the web form, you need to open the Component Designer surface of your Web page.

1. Right-click on the web form you want to add the control to.

2. Select the View Component Designer option from the context menu.

You will see an additional icon appear at the bottom of the Components Toolbox, representing the TX Text Control .NET Server.
