Creating templates using MS Word 2007 and MS Word 2010

1. Open MS Word 2007 or MS Word 2010 to create a new document.

2. Open the Insert ribbon tab and open the Quick parts dropdown button from the Text ribbon group. Click on Field to open the Field dialog.

3. Choose the MergeField from the Field names list view and specify a name for the new field: "company".

4. Specify the format and some field options as shown in the following screenshot:

5. Repeat step 2 and 3 to insert another field and name this field "name".
