The MergeField

The DocumentServer.MailMerge class uses a standard merge field format supported by MS Word and the shipped TX Template Designer. It is the mail merge field format that is stored in the RTF, DOC or DOCX format. These fields will be imported into the ApplicationField collection of TX Text Control. The format of the fields and additional options are stored in the ApplicationField.Parameters property. The DocumentServer.MailMerge class encapsulates the handling of these fields, so that these fields must not be parsed manually. Supported formats are:

• (none)
• Uppercase
• Lowercase
• First capital
• Title Case

Additionally, field options can be specified. Supported options are:

• Text to be insert before
• Text to be insert after
