Microsoft Word Merge Fields

Merge fields are special fields that can be inserted into Microsoft Word documents. On demand, they can be dynamically populated with generated data or other information.

As of version 14, word processing documents that contain merge fields can be created in Microsoft Word and then imported into a TX Text Control ActiveX Server based application. The merge fields remain in tact and can be post-processed or populated.

Similarly, documents that are created in a TX Text Control ActiveX Server based application can be exported and imported into Microsoft Word.
