I started working for Text Control GmbH in 1996, as the enterprise's only web developer. At the time, we had only one web site for each company division, namely www.textcontrol.com and www.theimagingsource.com. Since then, we have expanded to become truly international, with branches in USA, Europe and Taiwan.

As the Senior Web Developer at Text Control GmbH, I lead an international, multi-disciplinary team of programmers, graphical artists and cultural advisors. Together, we support all the marketing activities of Text Control GmbH in all company languages and cultures. We are specialized in the creation of professional, contemporary and fully-localized web sites.

I am particularly interested in the interoperability of TX Text Control with programming languages, other than those which are available on Microsoft Windows. A particularly noteworthy project in this respect, is one called LiveDocx. Using LiveDocx, developers can add PDF, DOCX and DOC document generation to their applications with only a few lines of code. The PHP implementation of this SOAP service was demonstrated at programming conferences across Northern Europe during 2009 and in the meantime is enjoying considerable success throughout the world. I am the Project Leader of the PHP team.
