TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms in the Microsoft Whidbey Labs

Blogged by Björn Meyer on July 14, 2005 and tagged with microsoft, visual studio 2005.

To be 100% compatible to Visual Studio 2005 and the .NET Framework 2.0 (Whidbey), TX Text Control .NET for Windows Forms has been officially tested in the Microsoft Whidbey laboratories.

The next release of Visual Studio and the .NET Framework will offer innovations and enhancements to the class libraries, common language runtime (CLR), programming languages and the integrated development environment (IDE).

The .NET CLR team from Microsoft has helped us to be compatible with the new version of Visual Studio 2005. As a result, future releases of TX Text Control will support Visual Studio 2005 Beta and the final version of Visual Studio 2005.

Will you also create a version for the Compact Framework? I think such a product is desperately needed and will be widely accepted!

Hello Thomas Thank you very much for your request. Personally, I think that business applications for smart devices is a very interesting market. We are watching at the developments in this growing market and will consider such versions carefully. Anyway, a version for the Compact Framework is not planned at the moment.
