United States Air Force uses TX Text Control

We (I.M. Systems Group) have written an application using TX Text Control that is now the official document creation instrument for The United States Air Force. We have appreciated the programmability and ease of use afforded to us by using TX Text Control. This is what Action Officers' Guide actually does?

The Action Officer Guide is a tool to help you format correspondence. With the guide, you simply push buttons, answer a few questions to properly format documents and, if needed, reference instructions. HQ AFMC experts provided the formats and instructions. The information is consolidated into a guide to create a one-stop administrative shop for you. The tools in the guide allow you to concentrate on document content versus administrative requirements. By using the guide you become more self-sufficient, produce higher quality products, and make better use of your time. Administrative expertise is on your computer, just a push-button away.

HQ AFMC centrally maintains the templates and instructions. Updates and enhancements are made available via the Air Force Acquisition Model's FTP Server. Once the program is installed using the installation program, which is write protected, you do not have to worry about inadvertently corrupting or deleting the files. Documents can be created and saved to your own disk. The guide exploits our investment in the computer sitting on your desk and is user-friendly.
